Tuesday: So long

It is that time of year when I start to wonder about The Great Chop.
The Big Hair Decision. The merits of Short vs Long.
Must something in the summer sun.
Who knows what will happen this year, but I take comfort in the
fact that should my current lengths be farewelled, I will repeat the
age-old mantra to myself, it will grow again. And if all else fails, wear a hat.

If I was smart like Einstein I would get on my bike and ride off into the weekend, without a second thought for the last few hours of the week.

Friday: The Sartorialist book signing

I have to admit I was a little excited to go to the Satorialist book signing. I may or may not have spent hours or days thinking about exactly what would be the perfect effortless outfit to impress a man who has seen the chicest and most interesting styles from all over the globe…. the thought of that alone was impossibly intimidating.

Although this also meant everyone else was feeling the exact same way and I could not resist seeing what they thought was an optimum outfit. The line was long so it gave some quality observation time to asses the crowd.
Two and a half hours and one book signed later it was all a wash of fashion crushes and nervous comments.

Apologies for missing a post this week, but hopefully this will make up for it

Monday: Usual Suspects

It’s been nothing but the usual suspects today, hard work and not nearly enough enthusiasm on my behalf. Maybe a bike ride or scrumptious dinner can get me out of this tizz I’m in, if all else fails a man in a monkey suit will always get me to crack a smile.

Thursday: Doing it eBay style

We all have an eBay addiction whether we like to admit it or not, but if you love fashion you will know the joy of finding a great deal and having it delivered to your door. Plus with nice pics like these you feel like your almost really shopping.

Check out eBay store Lonely Hunter for some cheap threads that will have auctions finishing shortly.

Tuesday: I now know we all love you!

have recently become a fan/obsessed with Gossip Girl and it is nice to know there are other closet case watchers who think of Blair every time they see a headband.

Garance is obviously equally addicted, as shown by the topic of her post today:

I just adore Blair’s Audrey moments.

Monday: Tweed-tastic

Tweed riders were out in force as promised on Sunday, the ladies were lovely and the boys were shipshape in their coordinated outfits. As a worshipper of vintage bicycles it was a nice spread of interesting and customised bikes, I also managed to spot Lawrence Leung goggles and all. (http://lawrenceleung.comedymanagement.com.au/)

The event was posted on The Vine so they might have some more pics at some point.

Also apologies for not posting on Saturday the weekend was a blur of family and friends so this Post Miss missed the post.... so to speak.

Friday: Cruising on into the weekend… tweed style!

Cycling in the city but with a twist of tweed.

A friend in the know passed along this link to a Tweed Ride in Melbourne this Sunday, between bicycles and tweed outfits I don’t think I can handle my excitement or stope imagining how dashing the young chaps will look cycling around town.
If the weather holds out I shall be at least taking some pics if not riding along, I hope to see you there.

Kick off is 12pm at the state Library.
Essentials include 1 bicycle, a dash of tweed and sunny disposition.
Check out the link:

Monday: Paris sounds better

It’s the dreaded Monday already, as the alarm sounds and my weekly routine kicks off I can only think of how much better a week in Paris would sound at this point. So dreaming of something more chic I will stumble through the hazy early morning start.

Thursday: Pay for Style

I think that is fair, nice dresses don’t come cheap these days. So I personally would like to negotiate my salary based on my stylish presentation, clearly the more you gave me the better dressed I would be. Winners all round as far as I’m concerned.

Tuesday: On a mission

The week is getting some momentum and there is plenty to be done, if only I could look this glamorous getting my chores completed. But then again some girls have all the luck.

Some heels might help me channel glamorous thoughts.

Monday: Whoah knickers.

So it's a Monday.
And try as I might to dwell in the hour of possibility of a brand new week, fact is, I'm a little tired, a little heart-sore and in urgent need of some baked goods. So will test the best-lingerie theory today,
as it is rumoured to be an instant mood-lifter.
(Not that my moods reside in any part of my anatomy that requires lifting. It is more psychological, I'm sure.)
And I guess it could be worse. Those knickers could be mine.
Wishing you the loveliest Monday,
Love, Post Miss.

Friday: An alternate idea

Short of finding the perfect sunglasses a visor could be a good alternative. Not necessarily as chic as something that may have suited Grace. But they are slightly but they are familiar of a little Miss Kylie, perhaps not the perfect accessory but at least something to think about!

Thursday: Straight Lines

Desperately seeking sunglasses.
Ali Zedwitz has collborated with Weekday on a range but I'm trying to
decide if they are a beautiful, graphic straight line meets john lennon look
or merely a monobrow mickey mouse.
Flashbacks to being 13 and in need of tweezing are encouraging me
to keep looking. I think a Grace Kelly cat's eye will do the trick.

Tuesday: Fascinator Fashion

Whether it was a hat or a fascinator it was fascinating to see what our ladies pulled together today. Though the celeb’s styling may have a little disappointing it was nice to see some true individuals doing it in their way.

Congratulations to the lucky ladies that had success in the fashion stakes.
