Its ladies day at the track today, time-honoured black and white should be popular with this year’s traditional styling. Fingers crossed for some luck with the bookies!
I am hoping that the great C.C can give me some pointers as only a lady of her stature could. My copy is on order and I have a great feeling about this one, I can see myself in tweed and pearls already.
If only I had a hovering glass bubble to transport me from here to there, looking all stylish and chic. Instead I think I will head to Fed Square tonight and join the ladies-who-swap at the fabulous Clothing Exchange to see what else I may find. Cannot guarantee there will be any glass bubbles.
Or bubbles in a glass. Ps. What about the boy's bike instead? It is lovely!
As an avid follower of a number of blogs I think it is fair to say, you know you are it and a bit when you are featured on not one but multiple fashion blogs. If Garance, the Sart and Tommy Ton rate you, then in my eyes you should be worshipped.
So in homage to these fashionable few I have compiled some of their appearances.
As warned a purchase was needed to take the edge off my never ending dress hunt, well that said purchase has been achieved…. a copy of the new Beatles digitally remastered album. So now the day will spent enjoying the classic tunes and enjoying their new found digital perfection.
If I could only find the perfect dress for the races then maybe I could be sitting pretty like this lovely lady, the stress of not finding “the dress” is driving me stir-fry. As a result of this I find myself unreasonably questioning shop assistants regarding stock deliveries and stalking my regular favourites like a cat burglar on the prowl.
I need make a purchase to take the edge off, saving is for those with no taste anyhow!
Dear Reader, Please consider this a love letter of sorts. Every day I will send you something I saw, thought or made me pause. I look forward to your correspondence.
Love, Post Miss. Ps. There will be no post on Sunday
