Monday: Tweed-tastic

Tweed riders were out in force as promised on Sunday, the ladies were lovely and the boys were shipshape in their coordinated outfits. As a worshipper of vintage bicycles it was a nice spread of interesting and customised bikes, I also managed to spot Lawrence Leung goggles and all. (http://lawrenceleung.comedymanagement.com.au/)

Friday: Cruising on into the weekend… tweed style!

Cycling in the city but with a twist of tweed.

A friend in the know passed along this link to a Tweed Ride in Melbourne this Sunday, between bicycles and tweed outfits I don’t think I can handle my excitement or stope imagining how dashing the young chaps will look cycling around town.

If the weather holds out I shall be at least taking some pics if not riding along, I hope to see you there.

Kick off is 12pm at the state Library.

Essentials include 1 bicycle, a dash of tweed and sunny disposition.

I think that is fair, nice dresses don’t come cheap these days. So I personally would like to negotiate my salary based on my stylish presentation, clearly the more you gave me the better dressed I would be. Winners all round as far as I’m concerned.

So it's a Monday.
And try as I might to dwell in the hour of possibility of a brand new week, fact is, I'm a little tired, a little heart-sore and in urgent need of some baked goods. So will test the best-lingerie theory today,
as it is rumoured to be an instant mood-lifter.
(Not that my moods reside in any part of my anatomy that requires lifting. It is more psychological, I'm sure.)
And I guess it could be worse. Those knickers could be mine.

Desperately seeking sunglasses.

Ali Zedwitz has collborated with Weekday on a range but I'm trying to

decide if they are a beautiful, graphic straight line meets john lennon look

or merely a monobrow mickey mouse.

Picking a winner can be tricky but follow my simple advice and you may have some luck in the Melbourne cup.

1. Pick a horse with a nice name

2. Choose colours that match or compliment your outfit

3. Remember the favourites can be a tad overrated

4. Most importantly read the form guide and avoid all tips that are based on a nothing more than a whim!
