Once upon a time, in a fortunate tale,
a pair of red-soled shoes made an office turn pale,
for each wishful girl in their turn
those lovely shoes did meanly spurn,
too fat, too wide, too long, too high,
who would've thought you couldn't give away
glorious heels that cost my pay,
until at last, there was but one,
who now owns that pair of Louboutins.
Happy to say, that she is me,
who says Cinderella is fantasy?
